“A TOUCH OF WARMTH & CHRIS CARED”
Our pageants are honored to support charitable giving to those in need. Each contestant is asked to bring one new warm blanket and one container of coffee. Miss Aaliyah Rucker was at one time a TDS Queen and is the founder of “A Touch of Warmth” (ATOW) a 501(c)3 organization devoted to providing care, comfort, blankets other goods to those in need. In memory of our friend and staff member Chris Church, we have added coffee, tea and hot chocolate to the list of items we are collecting. “Chris Cared” and we want to add some extra warmth to honor the kindness he showed toward others. Anyone may participate!
Start your own blanket and coffee collection today! We will CROWN the person that donates the most blankets and coffee with a beautiful round crown & embroidered sash. Runners up will receive a tiara on stage! Ask friends and businesses to donate, bring or mail the donations to and get credit toward this award. We will also give tickets to each girl who donates. Drawings for fun prizes will be held! This does not influence the pageant in any way. (Need mailing information?
