Would you like to be sure that your “Sweet Doll Princess” receives a large crown? We understand! It’s simple, just check the spot on the entry form and she will receive a minimum of a 7 inch crown and special sash on stage! Mr. Tim will announce her as one of our Tropical Dream Stars National Sweet Doll Princesses!  We will award as many of these as are entered! *Special deadline applies. This may be double crowned.    

 

“ Chris Cared & On My Mothers Shoulders”

Our pageants are honored to support charitable giving to those in need. Each contestant is asked to bring two new full sized toiletries and one container of hot chocolate. (Tooth paste, shampoo, soap, etc.) Claudia Phillips is the founder of OMMS and distributes these items and other goods to those in need. In memory of our friend and staff member Chris Church, we are also collecting hot chocolate mix to distribute to those in need. “Chris Cared” and we want to add some extra warmth to honor the kindness he showed toward others. Anyone may participate! Start your own toiletry and hot chocolate collection today! We will CROWN the person that donates the most toiletries and hot chocolate with a beautiful round crown & embroidered sash. Runners up will receive a tiara on stage! Ask friends and businesses to donate, bring or mail the donations to and get credit toward this award. This does not influence the pageant in any way. (Need mailing information? Line Up

Line up in each age group is determined by the date of entry and deposit. First in, last out in line up OR your choice. HOWEVER, WE WILL NOT PLACE YOU IN LINE UP UNTIL YOUR DEPOSIT & ENTRY FORM IS RECEIVED. YOU MAY USE PAYPAL FOR DEPOSITS, send to national@tropicaldreamstars.com Please do not forget to submit your entry form! Please watch the deadlines closely to avoid paying more to enter!

Who May Compete

TDS is open to all contestants. No preliminary is needed. Last years/reigning/current Highest 9 Supremes may come to crown but may not compete this year. Once a queen has won the oldest highest Mega Supreme, they will be lifetime ambassadors and not eligible to compete again. Everyone else has the option to re-compete or crown.

 

Numbers/Photos

We do not give out the names and numbers of Contestants entered at any time, please do not ask. All photos must be turned in on Friday night by the end of registration or make prior arrangements. Contestant name, age group for TDS must be on the back and your photo must be protected by a clear cover. If you enter more than one picture in a category, you may label them A, B, C, Etc.

Please do this in advance of arrival to save time.

Family Discount

First child enters the package full price, second child enters supreme package or Saver packages at half price. All other events are normal price. Only one discount may be used.

Please contact us for convenient payment plans! We are happy to help you attend TDS and “Experience the Difference!” Be sure to take a look at sponsor ticket information. That is a great way to help pay your fees!

 

Signs And Vendors: Please Read

NO signs, posters, etc. will be permitted on hotel walls, doors or elevators. This is our pageant regulation, not the hotel. Bulletin boards will be placed on easels; you are welcome to place your signs there. Ignoring this rule may result in disqualification, as determined by the director. Tables will be provided for your pageant forms and flyers. Vendors of merchandise MUST contact the director in advance and be paid by 9/1. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Tables will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

A special package will be offered prior to the pageant for those who wish to enter extra photos. If we have enough interest, we may add some extra cash paying titles and/or an extra casual wear/swimsuit. If time permits, we may offer a second chance beauty. This would be no change of clothes and on a 2nd stage & 2nd set of judges. We will not offer OOC and no props.

 

Stage/Music/Video

Professional sound, music and video will be provided. You may bring your own CD for casual wear only OR choose from Mr. Tim’s playlist at the pageant.  No video/photo cameras of any kind may be taken in the ballroom. All cell phones must be turned off or on silent while in the ballroom. You may model a front OR back T. Your choice. You do not have to change routines! Mr. Tim, “the voice of pageants” will once again be our MC for nationals. PHD Photo and Video will be our official vendors. .

The hotel is Located at 1031 Virginia Ave. Atlanta, GA. 30337. Minutes from Hartsfield International Airport. Hotel has a free shuttle service from the airport.  Room rates are $109.  Free Wi-Fi and $3 parking. Restaurants offer a wide range of items to choose from, including Starbucks. Please call early! EVERYONE WHO MAKES RESERVATIONS BEFORE 8/24/18  WILL BE PLACED IN A SPECIAL DRAWING FOR ONE FREE NIGHT PAID AT THE HILTON.   YOUR WEEKEND HOTEL STAY COULD BE FREE! JUST CALL ON TIME TO BOOK YOUR ROOM! Tentative Schedule

Friday September 28th

NO FRIDAY NIGHT COMPITITION. Please join our event page for announcements, to stay up to date. Turn in all photos, pay all balances due, and purchase extra badges. PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR “ON MY MOTHERS SHOULDERS & CHRIS CARED” DONATION WITH YOU WHEN YOU COME!

 

Please notify the directors if there are any times you are having issues making and we will try to assist. 
Friday September 28th Registration: 4-11pm You will be asked to provide your hotel room number at registration & turn in all photos. Watch the event page on Facebook for updates.

Saturday September 29th

Beauty, interview, casual wear, swimsuit. Exact schedule will be available at registration. We allow plenty of time between events.

Saturday Evening

Movie Night Party! We are excited to bring back our movie night party for the kids! Two movies will be shown on Saturday night, age appropriate. A flyer will be handed out on Friday with full details. Popcorn, candy & lemonade! Bring your jammies, pillow and blankets to relax with friends!

Sunday September 30th

Crowning of 2018 Tropical Dream Stars National Royalty. Tentative: 10:30 am.
* We will advise you of exact times at registration. 
*Door badges: Must be WORN at all times. In your pocket, purse or room is not worn. Do not attempt to enter the ballroom without your badge.  

 

Balances being sent by paypal

The last day for additional fees to be sent by Paypal is Wednesday prior to the pageant. If you have any questions, please call the director (843) 681-4812. Please add 4%. 

 

Referals

Receive fees paid for telling your friends about our pageant and they are new to our system. Contact Ms. Martha for full details please.

 

Behavior

Improper conduct by any contestant/parent/guest towards the hotel staff, other contestants or pageant staff may result in disqualification with no refund. Hotel room damage may result in disqualification. Disqualification from pageant, with no refund, at the director’s discretion, could occur for those who do not follow the rules above.

 

Gifts For OutGoing Royalty
If you know girls who are giving up titles at our national this year, you are welcome to bring small gifts to personally present to them on stage, as they take their final walk. This is not required, however it is a kind gesture to offer your pageant friends or fellow contestants.
